Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (I Corinthians 13: 4-8) As we embark on this holiday season, let us take a moment and examine the love we give. Are we finding ourselves easily angered or without patience for those around us? This is the season of giving and we must be sure our gifts are given from a place of love instead of obligation. I challenge you to not only share love through giving, but to also distribute the fragrance of its fruit. This Christmas, may we find love in the little things and celebrate its wonder.
